Privacy Policy
Feedmarkdown (“we”, “us”) is operated by 103 Labs, a company incorporated in the Netherlands. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit feedmarkdown.com or use the Feedmarkdown service, and what we do with it.
1. What we collect
- Account data: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile basics. Organization, member and invite details.
- Contact data: the email and any message you send to us by email.
- Billing data: plan, invoices and payment status. Card details are handled by Stripe and never stored by us.
- Service configuration: the sources, feeds, webhook URLs and API keys you set up. API keys are stored hashed where possible.
- Usage data: feed runs, delivery attempts, request logs, IP address, browser type and access times.
- Content we fetch for you: article text and metadata from public news sources you configure. This is not personal data about you; it is stored so we can deduplicate, deliver and replay it.
2. How we use it
- to provide, operate and secure the service;
- to deliver articles to your webhook or feed endpoints;
- to bill you and prevent abuse;
- to send sign-in links, alerts about failing sources, and service notices;
- to understand how the website and product are used, and improve them.
3. Analytics and cookies
We use PostHog for product analytics, served through a first-party proxy on our own domain. It records page views and events such as clicking a call-to-action. We do not use advertising cookies and do not sell analytics data.
4. Who processes your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the vendors that run the service for us, under contract:
- Cloudflare
- Hetzner
- WebCrawlerAPI
- Postmark
- PostHog
- Stripe
We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect our rights and users.
5. Your webhook endpoints
When you choose webhook delivery, we send article content to the URL you provide, signed with HMAC-SHA256. You are responsible for that endpoint and for what you do with the delivered content.
6. Retention
Articles are kept for your plan's history window and then deleted, together with their stored Markdown. Run records are removed after 90 days and webhook delivery logs after 30 days. Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymised on request, except what we must keep for tax and legal reasons.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR), you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and complain to your data protection authority. In the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. Email us to exercise these rights.
8. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
9. Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls and signed deliveries to protect data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The service is not directed to anyone under 18.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we change the date at the top; for material changes we will also notify you by email or in the dashboard.
